Structural steel for a single-storey library in Kitchener, Ontario, with a multi-slope roof that cantilevers past the walls. Fabricated in our Strathroy shop and erected in early 2024.

A single-storey public library in the south-west of Kitchener, Ontario.

The roof is the feature: sloped steel rafters at several pitches, cantilevering past the walls, over steel-stud walls with a tall gable end. The structural steel was fabricated in our Strathroy shop.

The photos are from March 2024, with the steel erected and the roof framing complete.
